He clearly really cared about his work, the quality of his work, and considered all aesthetic and practical aspects of this assignment. We know that this assignment was especially delicate, and time consuming. We greatly appreciated Steve’s attention to the finest details of what he was doing, and the great care he took in creating this exceptional fireplace. We felt that he had a lot of skill, and that his goal was to create a work of beauty for us, and to do this to the highest standards. Fireplace Specialties installed two Town & Country gas fireplaces in our custom home during construction in 2006/07. The installation was complex because of location, which involved one fireplace over the other on two separate floors. Mr. Sam Osborne & his crew showed both flexibility and creativity in this effort. Almost five years after putting these fireplaces into service, we are pleased to report no issues and flawless performance. Furthermore, the aesthetics of the flame display is outstanding because it is realistic.

In this day and age, that’s a rare commodity and one of which you can be justly proud. Kate took us through the various types of gas stoves and gave us very detailed information. No pressure to buy, just great service. Your three installers worked non-stop from the moment they arrived to the moment they finished the job – didn’t even stop for lunch. My husband and I knew that we wanted a fireplace as part of our family room renovation but had no idea how to go about making it a reality. Fireplace Specialties really informed us of our options and showed us a number of choices that would best suit our space and the result is a fireplace that is perfect for the room. With their assistance we chose the cabinet design and colour and then we were able to go and pick out our own tile for the surround, which we loved doing. I thought that I should give you a review following your supply and installation of my Pacific Energy Summit wood stove. I’m impressed on three levels. Firstly, the stove is simply amazing compared to the old Odette I had been using. It burns everything slowly, gently and completely, with a high heat output and not much wood required. Then there’s the smoke, we’re looking forward to cleaner winters in the future! Secondly, your guys, Steve and assistant, were the very best ambassadors for Fireplace Specialties, working quietly and diligently and completing a great job with no hassles.
